How important is it to argue with this person? Is there even a chance they'll change their mind? What would their answer be to: What evidence is required to change your mind? I did a deep study of world religions, and I have a very deep knowledge of the bible, and a lot of the translations, (not a brag, just background for this story). So, we were able to discuss in depth some of his issues with some of the harsh shit in Deuteronomy and numbers.
