one thing I will say about climate change was I wanted to put a windmill on my Property and plug it into the grid but guess what? The Power company got to veto that....WTF!

Well, grid tied does affect the grid. If you didn’t have it grid tied, then it wouldn’t matter. You would have to comply with whatever local regulations then. Im thinking of putting solar on my roof.

ummm don't know a lot about them. Got a friend that has one. Uses it to melt the snow off his driveway....loves it

A geothermal heat pump uses the energy underground as a heat source and sink for heating and cooling. The temperature is supposed to be consistent year round (about 55*F). This makes it more thermodynamically efficient.

We have wells here in the Midwest, you can have water-soaked pumps at the bottom of a 30 foot well on a -20 degree day and the water is always the same temperature.
