its all predictions little data.

2018-10-10 19:46:29 UTC

strong risk....medium risk.....how you get there? Walk me through your logic?

2018-10-10 19:46:42 UTC

Well, that’s really all they can do. Any updates to the models?

2018-10-10 19:47:06 UTC

not really. Also another problem'

2018-10-10 19:47:20 UTC

Oh.

2018-10-10 19:47:56 UTC

I still can't find the section where is says....1-2 degrees increase will allow millions of acres of tundra to be farmable

2018-10-10 19:49:20 UTC

I keep missing that section

2018-10-10 19:50:15 UTC

Some groups fear that a warming tundra will cause faster decomposition, which increases co2 and methane emissions. However, I haven’t heard anything to see if that would be a net increase relative to increased growth rates.

2018-10-10 19:50:46 UTC

I also think there’s little evidence that storms have become more intense either.

2018-10-10 19:51:23 UTC

but their names are getting scarier.....MICHEAL!!!!!

2018-10-10 19:51:36 UTC

Jackson if your nasty

2018-10-10 19:51:42 UTC

So far it just seems that the risks mostly include sea level rise, ocean acidification, and shifts in precipitation patterns.

2018-10-10 19:51:46 UTC

Lol

2018-10-10 19:53:43 UTC

ocean acidification looks to be the biggest issue no one talks about

2018-10-10 19:55:02 UTC

I agree. The wacko environmentalists go insane over every major storm event, but you never hear about acidification. That, in addition to sea level rise, may be the biggest issue.

2018-10-10 19:55:50 UTC

Not concerned about sea level rise.....Let me see if I can find the paper quickly

2018-10-10 19:56:19 UTC

Ok.

2018-10-10 19:56:42 UTC

he was on Rogan......

2018-10-10 19:56:53 UTC

wish I was better with names

2018-10-10 19:59:22 UTC

Well the paper still looking.....said we passed the point where there will be 0 ice at the poles at some point. If it takes 100 years we have problems but can likely manage....if it takes 10,000 years dude no one will notice

2018-10-10 20:00:41 UTC

damit Rogan fucking A he has talked to everyone in the world at this point

2018-10-10 20:01:44 UTC

wait Do I have a Joe Rogan experience?🤔

2018-10-10 20:01:45 UTC

What? Seriously? The Arctic Ocean ice completely melts every summer I think. If all the ice on Greenland melts, the ocean raises a mean of about 9 feet.

2018-10-10 20:02:25 UTC

He has a lot of shows. I could never imagine listening to all of them at this point. All very long too.

2018-10-10 20:02:58 UTC

ocean rise is about how fast. planet change has always been happening there is a word for it we call in Erosion...

2018-10-10 20:03:57 UTC

Epoch?

2018-10-10 20:04:48 UTC

I can’t remember

2018-10-10 20:05:27 UTC

Down 831 today....if there is no recovery tomorrow....Que Fed statement monday

2018-10-10 20:06:45 UTC

climate change lit isn't my thing....hard to find since I don't track it much....the guy was on Rogan...And rogan has everybody Its a full time job just to listen to the Joe Rogan Experience

2018-10-10 20:08:11 UTC

So true

2018-10-10 20:10:52 UTC

one thing I will say about climate change was I wanted to put a windmill on my Property and plug it into the grid but guess what? The Power company got to veto that....WTF!

2018-10-10 20:13:08 UTC

Well, grid tied does affect the grid. If you didn’t have it grid tied, then it wouldn’t matter. You would have to comply with whatever local regulations then. Im thinking of putting solar on my roof.

2018-10-10 20:14:23 UTC

Solar makes no sense here I live in the North

2018-10-10 20:15:01 UTC

when 6 months of the year a panel will be covered in snow it makes no sense

2018-10-10 20:16:15 UTC

I live in the south east, where it practically never snows. Tons of people up north have solar.

2018-10-10 20:16:39 UTC

yeah its a great tax break

2018-10-10 20:16:52 UTC

Lol. That’s true.

2018-10-10 20:16:53 UTC

but it doesn't break even

2018-10-10 20:19:56 UTC

Maybe up north.

2018-10-10 20:20:21 UTC

What do you think about geothermal heat pumps?

2018-10-10 20:21:29 UTC

ummm don't know a lot about them. Got a friend that has one. Uses it to melt the snow off his driveway....loves it
