Trump might be making moves to end birth right citizenship: http://archive.is/AspCE (archive of a NYT article from today)
I support this, but think it might not pass a constitutional challenge.

2018-10-30 15:52:20 UTC

@grant yes. That one. They have another where a black guy calls the cops on an educated white woman and HER CHILDREN not voting.

2018-10-30 15:53:49 UTC

@grant I don’t know about that. I think birthright citizenship is acceptable. Just put up better border control. I don’t think it’s explicitly a bad thing for America.

2018-10-30 15:55:28 UTC

Agreed.

2018-10-30 15:56:08 UTC

@Salacious Swanky Cat That other ad is funny, they think white people don't get called for having a lemonade stand: https://nypost.com/2018/05/31/neighbor-calls-cops-to-shut-down-boys-lemonade-stand/

2018-10-30 15:56:23 UTC

colors got nothing to do with it.

2018-10-30 15:57:32 UTC

I support birthright citizenship. I think like 65% of people do. It will fail

2018-10-30 15:58:26 UTC

When I lived in California the chinese would come and give birth in the us https://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/05/01/china-us-birth-tourism_n_7187180.html

2018-10-30 15:59:16 UTC

I think there should at least have to be some kind of residency

2018-10-30 15:59:48 UTC

Getting rid of it would create a permanent underclass of people. I won't punishment someone for their great great grandparents coming here illegally. The answer restrict immigration enforcement

2018-10-30 16:00:44 UTC

We don't give citizenship to ambassadors children. I mainly want to stop stuff like in that article and anchor babies.

2018-10-30 16:01:38 UTC

And without their ancestors home countries giving them citizenship, you have a large population of stateless people living in your borders that no one will accept

2018-10-30 16:02:03 UTC

And all of their descendants

2018-10-30 16:02:15 UTC

That's a much bigger problem than anchor babies

2018-10-30 16:03:04 UTC

Countries already don't accept back illegal immigrant that are citizens of their countries. So we should have to take them?

2018-10-30 16:03:42 UTC

@grant yes. It’s cancer.

2018-10-30 16:05:56 UTC

No. I say we deport all illegal immigrants. That way nation they return to can be ‘enriched’. If the nation doesn’t accept them all, they are racist. Lol

2018-10-30 16:07:11 UTC

Having a travel ban on pregnant women after a certain week of pregnancy and stricter immigration control is a far better solution

2018-10-30 16:10:31 UTC

How's that going to work, just stay longer or lie. once the baby's you got an anchor.

2018-10-30 16:12:45 UTC

Regardless, anchor babies are significantly less of an issue than a ever growing underclass of millions of people without citizenship

2018-10-30 16:12:48 UTC

@grant that’s true, but reducing immigration as a whole reduces the problem.

2018-10-30 16:13:14 UTC

@Deleted User I agree with that.

2018-10-30 16:13:50 UTC

We already shown that mass deportation is hard and a terrible solution compared restricting further immigration

2018-10-30 16:14:01 UTC

We need mass deportations - the likes we’ve never seen - it will be tremendous.

2018-10-30 16:14:04 UTC

Lol

2018-10-30 16:15:00 UTC

Just listened to Matt on the bread and circuses podcast. My thoughts on Automatic weapons is any individual weapon issued to us infantry units should be available to all citizens.

2018-10-30 16:16:46 UTC

Unfortunately, the incentives to continue to try and move here illegally persist. I feel as long as that is the case we'll continue to see illegal immigration.

2018-10-30 16:17:16 UTC

@[VEF] Pershing Driver interesting point. I need to get myself a gun. I’m still a bit nervous about it because I haven’t really used one.

2018-10-30 16:17:35 UTC

Does anyone know what the actual restrictions to owning a tank are?

2018-10-30 16:17:51 UTC

@[VEF] Pershing Driver what do you mean "to us infantry units"

2018-10-30 16:18:41 UTC

@grant that’s generally true. If the economic/social situation drastically changes in central/south America, then the incentive decreases. It’s a tough call.

2018-10-30 16:19:51 UTC

@grant I don’t know, but I’m sure being rich and having balls the size of grapefruits are requirements too. Lol

2018-10-30 16:29:47 UTC

@Deleted User US Infantry units so M4/m16/M14/ M60/ m249 , plus SMGs and handguns .... even go so far as M2 Browning....

2018-10-30 16:41:07 UTC

Owning a tank .... the tanks are demilled. Breech block cut all the good optics radios and other goodies are removed in some cases the barrel is cut and all machine guns are removed and I have seen where they pulled the cylinder heads and welded the engine compartment shut. other than that your HOA will have issues with you parking the tank in your driveway ..... also if it is a US tank the government still can technically take back into service without notice.

2018-10-30 16:42:16 UTC

My old neighbor had an old Sherman that was registered as a DD and not demilled.

2018-10-30 16:56:10 UTC

@[VEF] Pershing Driver Ok, I was just curious because Sometimes the gun grabbers say: "do you think everyone should be able to get a tank too?" And my first thought is "Do we restrict owning a tank?" My second thought is "oh what kind of tank would I get"

2018-10-30 16:57:49 UTC

Lol.

2018-10-30 17:00:13 UTC

@Salacious Swanky Cat if you're nervous go do a firearms safety course or something. Kill that mysticism

2018-10-30 17:03:16 UTC

@Beemann I need to. It may become a fun hobby. Who knows?

2018-10-30 17:03:45 UTC

I plan on grabbing some guns once I have a place to safely store them and the spare cash to get a Garand

2018-10-30 17:44:18 UTC

Personally, I like shotgunning. I think its more fun to shoot things that move. I recommend it if you have a place to shoot trap, skeet or sporting clays near you.
