SJWs hate him.

2018-12-07 14:10:02 UTC

well if they can get Sargon better start a pool on who will be next

2018-12-07 14:10:26 UTC

Is Pool in the pool?

2018-12-07 14:15:58 UTC

My money is on Owen Benjamin.

2018-12-07 14:16:00 UTC

I’d say so.

2018-12-07 14:18:14 UTC

I started watching a few Owen Benjamin videos lately, I think he must be on top of the list to get kicked!

2018-12-07 14:20:33 UTC

He left Patreon on his own last year; because he saw this coming, but he still has PayPal.

2018-12-07 14:26:23 UTC

I expect him to get kicked on all platforms.

2018-12-07 14:44:23 UTC

we might ironically need Russian or Chinese payment processors to circumvent this leftist tyranny

2018-12-07 14:45:43 UTC

even porn payment processors won't touch Gab.ai

2018-12-07 14:47:07 UTC

Maybe we need a western free speech advocate one.

2018-12-07 14:52:32 UTC

some of the reason why payment processors and banks won't handle some FFL dealers and e-thots has do with a little known US federal law but the name escapes me right now.

2018-12-07 14:53:00 UTC

Oh. Ok

2018-12-07 14:53:21 UTC

lemme see if I can find it

2018-12-07 14:54:03 UTC

Ok. To be fair though, Sargon is not an ethot

2018-12-07 15:00:11 UTC

"Operation Choke Point"

2018-12-07 15:01:24 UTC

```
The general outline is the DOJ and bank regulators are putting the screws to banks and other third-party payment processors to refuse banking services to companies and industries that are deemed to pose a “reputation risk” to the bank. Most controversially, the list of dubious industries is populated by enterprises that are entirely, or at least generally, legal. Tom Blumer’s extremely informative post summarizing what is known to date about Operation Choke Point reproduces the list, which includes things such as ammunition sales, escort services, get-quick-rich schemes, on-line gambling, “racist materials” and payday loans. Quite obviously, some of these things are not like the other; moreover, just because there are some bad apples within a legal industry doesn’t justify effectively destroying a legal industry through secret executive fiat.```
2018-12-07 15:01:58 UTC
some say Sargon promotes "racist materials"
2018-12-07 15:02:59 UTC
What garbage reasoning. It’s literally a guilt by association fallacy
2018-12-07 15:04:25 UTC
when you see that, now you can understand why patreon, paypal and stripe refuse free speech - it presents a "reputational risk"
2018-12-07 15:05:09 UTC
That’s so dumb.
2018-12-07 15:06:15 UTC
me? or the law?
2018-12-07 15:06:21 UTC
Anyways, there is some serious news with OPEC today. They have a greed with non-OPEC nations to cut oil production by 1.2 million gallons per day. That will increase oil prices
2018-12-07 15:06:38 UTC
The law itself is dumb. Not you
2018-12-07 15:06:50 UTC
😬
2018-12-07 15:08:23 UTC
whelp - there you go. they're likely under pressure from the DOJ and that's why we can't have a western solution to the payment processor problem
2018-12-07 15:13:54 UTC
Opec pisses me off
2018-12-07 15:35:01 UTC
I seem to recall there being a story about Qatar leaving OPEC recently.
2018-12-07 15:35:34 UTC
Isn't large scale murder usually a consequence of doing something like that?
2018-12-07 15:37:56 UTC
hmmm.. apparently it's been ended in Aug '17 but this shit still stinks of it...
2018-12-07 15:41:01 UTC
Well OPEC has issues....Many times they agree to "cut" production to raise gas prices then turns out later many nation didn't cut hoping the other nations would make the sacrifice..
2018-12-07 15:42:10 UTC
So what they say and what they do.....can be 2 different things.....
2018-12-07 15:48:17 UTC
It’s dumb. Opec is another reason I want to drive electric. I don’t want another country to have that much influence over my energy costs.
2018-12-07 15:53:28 UTC
@Euro looking for a green card I think Owen should be kicked, not because i like to ban anyone off platforms. But because i think he needs to get offline and work on his mental health, but that's just me lol.
2018-12-07 15:57:53 UTC
The only time OPEC worked together was the 70s now every country in it is very selfish. While Saudi Arabia might want higher gas prices...The lost revenue from slowing production they can't afford right now...Pretty much the same for most of the other members. Besides I think people give OPEC too much credit....
2018-12-07 16:07:48 UTC
@Shadows I agree, he needs to go do some lumberjack work for a few month and reset his batteries!
2018-12-07 21:11:15 UTC
I don't want Owen kicked, but someone he trusts needs help him out. And he probably does need a break like you guys are saying.
2018-12-07 21:17:37 UTC
I don’t listen to Owens videos much. What’s wrong with him? Is he super conspiratorial? I’ve heard he randomly goes off on people
2018-12-07 21:59:48 UTC
Most might not care, anyone like what Epic Games is doing?
2018-12-07 22:29:00 UTC
At the very least I hope the competition makes steam get better. otherwise I am not sure.
