And they just happened to find him with a weapon fitting that description
Alone
Running from police
No, they didn't catch the squad, they just saw the squad putting their equipment away
Sure.
Brb
Have to get a rag to clean up all the sarcasm I just dripped everywhere
😃
X3
and no, none of the people that have claimed that were wearing mirrored sunglasses and a red Mack hat
I think I missed that reference lol

It's 2:30 here. :3
Hahahaha Ben saying its normal to want your children to be straight is probably one of his greatest moments on the show
Just listened to that in the car.
Nice. Some might say well no shit, that's obvious. But if you know how triggering that is to someone on the left, it is like top tier truth bombs
Rational thoughts aren't their strong suits...
I like how he manages to completely keep religion out of arguments where religion is obviously one, if not the main component for him and still gets hate for it!
Right. He's talented at it. I personally don't adjust myself that way, because I don't want to appeal to anyone's sensibilities for the sake of convincing them my belief is correct. I just speak the truth
I get that and I used the same approach for a long time.
The reason why I switched to try and make secular arguments is to not be shut down with the "your guy in the sky bullshit" comments.
It is usually possible to make a coherent argument without introducing religion in the conversation.
He sure is a businessman. Sometimes he has to do some mental gymnastics on his program to fit his advertisers in with his ideas he is communicating 😃
Well to be fair once they say the guy in the sky, they already lost. And yeah I have conversations all the time like that and agree with people all the time without it being contingent on my first principles
Not always doing it very convincingly one might add.
LOL true. But I don't say it to call him out on it, I appreciate Ben all the same
He sometimes loses me on his Israel arguments although I am firmly in his camp on that matter.
I can see through his arguments on Israel, and can see his side on some points vs. Palestine. But simultaneously a lot of people lose me in their arguments against Israel. The same reason why Ben loses me sometimes is the same thing his opponents fall victim to in discussions
I am reading a book right now that Ben recommended a while back that's quiet good on the Israel-Arab conflict.
Myths and Facts: A Guide to the Arab-Israeli Conflict by Mitchell Bard
It's basically a collection of facts about points that are often made against Israel and the debunking of them.
Nice
Oh and one thing that certainly isn't Ben's strong suits is all things concerning Europe which he showed again in that same episode when he talked about France and the UK.
Like Ben I think several things can be true at once, so I'm never one dimensional on Israel
Oh really?
Yeah the book makes concessions of Israel mistakes as well.
Yeah, his Brexit knowledge is basic at best. He sounds like he is just repeating talking points that he read before the show.
Sure, he doesn't need to be an expert on Europe, but if he comments on it, he can be called out on it.
I don't think he's closed off to that, fortunately. He seems to like improving
Which is always a good thing
Right like
