in all seriousness: women are (with statistical evidence) better suited psychologically to be more accommodating, nurturing, patient, etc. to be good with kids.
hypergamy is a very real thing, and most women want men that are smarter and make more money than them; that they can look up to and that will protect and provide for them.
one of the best determining factors for overall human well-being, happiness, and legal behavior is whether they grew up in a home with a father and a mother.
and i'd like to hear a response to my comments on the effects of "people settl[ing] down later in life", because i have a difficult time steel-manning arguments for that and/or seeing holes in what i've said.
i'm sympathetic to the idea that it's helpful to have had a couple romantic partners to better understand relationship dynamics and what you really want/need in a life-long partner, but there's a definite cutoff point where you're just waiting around for better offers or focusing on things that aren't meaningful and important.
