My point was that Easter isn't really worshipped by Christian's. Sure Easter has been co-opted to worship Christ, but it's not actually Easter worshipping.

2019-04-23 22:31:00 UTC

Well. Easter is exclusively the Christian holiday

2019-04-23 22:31:28 UTC

That doesn’t mean pagans didn’t also have some fertility festival at the same time

2019-04-23 22:31:49 UTC

Is anyone really surprised that a group as authoritarian as Democrats are all taking orders from the same place?

2019-04-23 22:32:10 UTC

There are carry overs though. The bunny and eggs are carry overs from pagans.

2019-04-23 22:33:41 UTC

Hey it’s another excuse to eat candy

2019-04-23 22:34:05 UTC

I’m okay with the carry over

2019-04-23 22:36:52 UTC

Pants were also from pagans

2019-04-23 22:37:07 UTC

Lol

2019-04-23 22:38:45 UTC

Either way even if Easter is a Christian holiday the term Easter Worshiper is technically an incorrect definition.

2019-04-23 22:38:45 UTC

Um. I think that’s a stretch

2019-04-23 22:39:10 UTC

Yes. It’s an incorrect use of Easter

2019-04-23 22:39:22 UTC

It would be incorrect according to the orthodox

2019-04-23 22:39:50 UTC

It would be more accurate to say holiday participants.

2019-04-23 22:39:52 UTC

Even unorthodox. Unless you literally worship the Easter holiday

2019-04-23 22:40:06 UTC

If they wanted to avoid saying Christian

2019-04-23 22:40:33 UTC

They should have just said Sri Lankan minorities

2019-04-23 22:40:53 UTC

That would be giving Christians too much intersectional power.

2019-04-23 22:41:04 UTC

Christians don’t worship Easter either. Easter is a celebration. So that adds extra oddity to the phrase

2019-04-23 22:41:37 UTC

Especially from supposed Christians like Hillary and Obama.

2019-04-23 22:43:19 UTC

Imagine the phrase used for every religious holiday.

Hannukah worshipers, Christmas worshipers, Ramadan worshipers, etc...

2019-04-23 22:44:55 UTC

Its incoherent

2019-04-23 22:46:00 UTC

The most charitable interpretation I can give is that they meant ‘worshippers on Easter’

2019-04-23 22:47:19 UTC

That still sounds pretty weird

2019-04-23 22:47:35 UTC

Easter worshippers clearly meant worshippers on Easter. Like Easter attendees at a church aren’t attending Easter, they’re attending church

2019-04-23 22:48:05 UTC

It’s still a clunky phrase some think tank cooked up so the dems didn’t have to appear sympathetic to Christians

2019-04-23 22:48:41 UTC

Yeah. It sounds so bizarre.

2019-04-23 22:54:25 UTC

That’s because it’s an artificial rewording of reality. We all know it was radical Muslims attacking Christians on the most important day of the Christian calendar. So when you just say “I feel bad for those people who were gathered up doing their own thing” it’s weird

2019-04-23 22:57:19 UTC

Yeah.

2019-04-23 23:09:25 UTC

"People outraged because someone painted a picture of some guy"

2019-04-24 01:15:49 UTC

So dog walking is white supremacy now. And the concept of time is white supremacy. And moving in to a diverse neighborhood when white is white supremacy. All these anti-white supremacists are really selling the idea that white people are great.

2019-04-24 01:37:09 UTC

Don't forget that moving out of a diverse neighborhood is also racism

2019-04-24 01:37:31 UTC

Moving is racist

2019-04-24 01:39:33 UTC

Bingo.

2019-04-24 02:57:34 UTC

Christianity/Christians doesn't poll well
I've heard

2019-04-24 03:15:30 UTC

That’s what a generation of anti-Christian propaganda from the media will do

2019-04-24 03:36:18 UTC

Who needs religion when you have secular humanism? amiriteguys?

2019-04-24 03:48:17 UTC

Who needs religion when you have my stripped down, pointless version of Christian ethics I can use to criticize Christian ethics

2019-04-24 04:00:20 UTC

I kinda chuckle whenever a "Christian" tries to justify their fornication.
