wait
did you just assume my gender with that patriarchal word GENTLEMEN
SORRY
never apologize!
peeps should take and post their political compass test results! I mean if you want to.
I did the political compass test....told me I was correct
care to share?
actually never taken it. I just find the idea of it comical.....I started it once only to have sooooo many questions about the questions that I got no where
I also believe the bottom left square can't exist...
I actually see what you mean there.
there's not a lot of nuance in the questions and there's no "middle ground answer" or "+/- Ø" answer.
My sister lives in Seattle and took it and got -5, -5 in the green square
well I don't understand the bottom left.....I want government to control everything yet?????thats not authoritarian?
From a policy stand point, the bottom left seems oxymornic, but on a personal level it isn't
depends on how you approach the test, I approached it personally, but as far as policy goes I'm more libertarian
It means they want collectivism without a top-down authority, which is practically impossible.
so are we gonna be making bets on who wins next election
My money's on Orange Man atm
We'll see if the economy crashes or we get into a new war in the Middle East before next Nov.
lol
honestly not even sure how it works
Could have made a killing betting against Hillary.
Everyone was putting up big odds on her.
yeah one dude I know made 500 bucks
Is InTrade still a thing?
You used to be able to place bets there.
is it technically gambling or am I confused
Although it was illegal in my state otherwise I would have made a good buck betting on Obama in '08
It depends on the state laws
AZ outlawed it and I didn't know about VPNs and whatnot back then.
@uncephalized bear down
gotta love it when govt websites are broken
only on the mobile version lmao
this is hard to figure out
how is just normal betting on stuff like elections classified
it seems awfully authoritarian to make betting illegal
lots of laws made seemingly to protect the people from themselves... I wonder how things would be different if all gambling were completely legal federally
Oh it's totally ludicrous that gambling is illegal especially when you consider that most (all?) states run their own lotteries.
And speculating on stocks and commodities is legal even though that is basically the same thing as betting on Red and Black
I think gambling of any kind is stupid
