oof
youre an EE guy?
one class shy of masters in software
yup, but i try to keep that secret socially lol
i was gonna double major in EE and CS and then after 2 semesters i decided i would learn literally nothing
and just went into development myself
i'm just a humble train driver
EE i woulda learned something
not CS
I'm glad I didn't intend University. I would have wasted so much of my life and $.
i would get a high maths degree if anything
I'm currently studying for certifications, and then I'll probably go to WGU later in life.
yeah, i like to do both
more tech work that big brain design
embedded stuff is cool
^^^
more hands on than that making drawings
The most I have to do in terms of drawing is drafting network designs, IP addressing, protocol implementation, etc.
any degree is what you make of it. i can always go down the ladder if i feel like it but the degree dictates the ceiling
done a bit of that
No fyrjefe...she isnot
lol i have that idea of librarian too
#google is not Hawt
Now I'm spamming jobs, and trying to get out of this clicking monkey job.
usually a wrong idea
It's not bad pay per-say, but I feel stagnant.
So certing it up and waiting on this nigh guaranteed opportunity.
yeah, i need work that allows variety
I want to pull out my hair.
I don't blame you.
that is kind of the way i am
i like pressure and hard problems
not boring, slow and monotonous
that's why it helps to have a background in power
electronics are fun, but indian and chinamen are a dime a dozen
power engineers aren't
Yeah, I won't get that level of pressure until I change companies. There is one still in the works. I would become a Network and Security Engineer.
security can be a cool field to work in
It'll definitely be a change of pace, that's for sure. I would be required to get a Security Clearance, and work under Commercial or Federal Health Agencies.
been looking at doing some IoT blockchain appliance design recently
