You would use one of the various graphics libraries and feed it the data from json. Tkinter, matplotlib, seaborn. As for scraping, again theres libraries for that. Urllib, beautiful soup, etc. Many websites have APIs that offer the data in XML or json data already.

2019-07-28 21:55:52 UTC

@Vesdii i'd upgrade to the latest version 3 out there, yes. pip is just a way of downloading and installing python libraries and updates, its the same as apt-get in linux. you dont have to use it if you dont want to.

2019-07-28 21:57:02 UTC

hey, guys. wow, Blonde's new video was killer

2019-07-28 21:57:56 UTC

depending on what programs you have, you might also want python 2.7x as well. python forked off when version 3 came out, as its changes were so drastic and the number of programs written in 2.7 that werent currently supported were so many that they now treat them as seperate.

2019-07-28 21:58:21 UTC

linux mint had 2.7 and 3.6 installed by default

2019-07-28 22:00:07 UTC

I haven't run a linux box in at least half a decade. i ran babby's first xubuntu back in the day (gnome was "meh" to me)

2019-07-28 22:00:40 UTC

```
➜ ~ pip3 -V
pip 9.0.1 from /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages (python 3.6)
```

2019-07-28 22:01:16 UTC

pip3 is associated with 3.6, does that matter? i got 3.7 and idk if those versions should be synced up somehow or what

2019-07-28 22:01:23 UTC

you can update pip

2019-07-28 22:01:50 UTC

i think i tried that before and it broke pip

2019-07-28 22:01:56 UTC

2019-07-28 22:01:57 UTC

python 3 will use w/e the latest version is for it

2019-07-28 22:02:04 UTC

2019-07-28 22:02:15 UTC

2019-07-28 22:02:48 UTC
