I basically want to make a rechargeable battery for it

if its relay then its easy

tho the alarm would need to handle small suddent poweroff when relay switches on/off

aka self-reboot properly

if not done with capacitor hold while the relay clicks

one of those RC car batteries (cannibalized from children toy if you have spares around) or battery powered drill batteries could work with proper circuitry
