Are LTL rounds available for anything that isn't a shotgun? Shotguns seem fairly safe from gun control due to your average Fudd needing them for hunting

If you're indecisive, you could probably buy an AR lower receiver, since that's the 1 part that's actually considered the "firearm" and then hold onto that until you decide to build the rest

Obscure option: get a Taurus Judge revolver and get LTL .410 gauge shotgun shells for it

That would at least give a bit of versatility in ammo choices

It looks like there's a few LTL options for handgun rounds that tend to be low velocity (like .45 ACP) but shotgun rounds definitely have the most options readily available

@Legalize They work effectively in short distances. I want to say 25 feet or less. However, after, and past a certain point they become exponentially less effective. It could be used to majorly bruise, or welt the aggressor. It might, but I can't confirm its ability to break bone. However, if you are in a situation where you need a firearm there is no reason to limit yourself. It's supposed to protect you from foreign and domestic threat. Not to be used as the equivalent of a squirt gun against a potentially rushed/drug induced enemy. If you are looking at mid-tier I recommend an AERO precision lower. BCM is a solid choice for the rest of your build. Anyway, get your CPL, get a 'reliable' pistol, and purchase a HSGI Blowout IFAK kit. That, or put together your own. Go to StopTheBleed, get in person training, and you could test a NAR training kit on a pool noodle or bleedoutkit. Medical is vastly important.
