and/or fly my family to Korea to live with my wife's family
oh boy
@The Bitter Draught better to have an AR and not need it, than not have it and need it
Well my grandparents had guns in the house, and my uncle told them when he was a teenager he loaded it and put it to his head, but thankfully did not pull the trigger
Im just a traditionalist and that frowned upon in todays society of women power and slut culture
so I want to make sure my son is not going to be full of teenage angst
before I get one
yeah I've heard when you do that you realize how much you value your life
A safe is necessity in your case
^
well my primary reason would be home defense, and a gun in a safe is not useful for home defense
at leas that is what I would tell my wife
yeah if you cant keep a gun safe, get one of those action locks to put on it
your other option is keep it on your person
"defending the republic from leftists" would not fly with her
it sucks because I want to live around people who are I guess traditional but they're usually in rural areas and I really enjoy tech as a hobby
that's what I do
@Vesdii come up north my friend
you'll find us here surprisingly
as a hobby
I’ll end up getting a safe eventually
same
Welding is big up here
I'm not too worried since I always keep my gun on me
and all my other guns are dissassembled
A safe works fine for home defense
Tractor Supply is having as sale on Safes right now if yall are looking for safes, its part of our fall blow out
I've always wanted to craft some mechanical shit to make weird but cool conveniences throughout my house
If that’s a nationwide thing I might have to go look at that
What do you think makes rural areas and tech mutually exclusive?
idk, I haven't lived many places
I live in a rural area
i have internet
do you get like 2 mbps
we have tech jobs here
no, its pretty fast internet
I live rural/urban
oh wow
dude, I could do that them
