My shotgun has a safety

so when you drop it, can it go off because the force of hitting the ground can cause the firing pin to hit the cartridge?

I leave mine empty with safety off. All I have to do is rack a round to be up and ready to go

Best thing to do is take your time, do some research, and spend some time renting different stuff on the range to find out what clicks with you. The best gun is the one you shoot the best. No real wrong choice... unless it’s a Hi Point
