Unless it can be out and out “ruled” As a defensive shooting on the scene via some sort of footage or multiple eyewitnesses they usually take the “evidence”

it means that you are unable to buy one legally, whether that be from bans or yoo being a prohibited person, so you go to the black market.

self defense is a legal defense to a crime. if you kill someone with a gun, you are admitting to doing it, but with the legal defense that it was in self defense.
