The Garden Of Earthly Delights (Hell) — Hieronymus Bosch, 1480-1505
well
It's not *always* abusive relationships, frills, that's a classic BPD tactic to reel in a new catch
Granted I don't know the context, but I've seen it a lot... and had it done to me 💔
oof
well it didn't work
was legit just sad and perplexed, left and stumbled home
If you talk to any of those girls for long enough, they will all tell you the same story about how the men who were supposed to protect them abused them physically or sexually or both. @clubfrills
good for you either way
Yeah, seen that one a lot too 😦
I feel bad for people that get involved in that too
The edgy thing that people keep pointing out is that homosexuals and lesbians were all visited by Uncle Badtouch, but all of the whores and thots you meet were, too.
That's a common theme I heard growing up
The ones who manage to avoid either of those fates are the ones who get super-strict about it
solid points.
One of the most disturbing things I ever listened to was Stefan Molyneux's reading of "Child Abuse and the Origins of War".
The stats in there about child abuse are startling.
I'll check it, not a huge fan of the dude, but I follow him anyways
Do tell, Chet
Yeah, I think some of it is based, but not sure that he does more good than harm
he's kind of toxic, easily meme-able
I dunno, *I'm* pretty brilliant but I'm not obnoxious!
now let me tell you my theory about how essential oils can replace vaccines
oh shit lol
🤣
on that note I'm going to go to bed, but I enjoyed the conversation
Sweet dreams, ~~comrade~~ friend
LOL
The book is about a "Psycho-Historian" where he regails the reader/listener with the results of his research into original source material from numerous cultures on the topic of child sexual abuse, and how that effected their mythologies and warlike character. It is nauseating.
I'm legit interested.
I'll check it
Thanks
Same, I'll add it to the list
G'night y'all
Good night! @clubfrills
We're goin' to bed soon but I enjoyed listening in
I can't find the audiobook link, but here's text. https://psychohistory.com/books/the-origins-of-war-in-child-abuse/
