Revenge of the Cis was talking about Matt's video about the unsayable name today and they said he only stands up for free speech when it involves one of his friends, gatekeepers like Tim pool etc. Some people stood up for Matt in the chat and said he is not like that. He stands for free speech no matter who, and they asked for clips where Matt was defending Chris Cantwell, or Andrew Anglin, or Jason Kessler. Any idea if these exist? I just can't remember when Him and blonde covered those stories but was thinking they must be out there somewhere.

I don't think Matt did.

I would think that the standard would be finding and citing instances of Matt explicitly deciding not to defend someone, rather than having his defenders dig through hours of podcasts to find out which situation was brought up, when, and what was said about it

Explicit non defense being something like
1) topic is brought up
2a) Matt contradicts free speech position
OR
2b) Matt goes out of his way to not defend their free speech

I listen to ROTC. They're funny sometimes. I left some dissenting opinions in the comments. The consensus seems to be that Mersh is full of shit and totally wrong about Matt, which is good, because Matt doesn't deserve that shit.
