Whats funny is they always make themselves hollywood heroes too
or put on medals from 5 different wars lmao
Not just a vet. But a purple heart silver star vet
Who was involved in the bin laden raid
oh so he was an elite SEAL lol>
Oh I didnt get that far no idea what he claimed. I have seen people claim to be on the bin laden or bagdahdi raid
Im waiting for the "I was in Delta Force" lmao
he just claimed to be a vet and that he went to special forces qualification
as a 92W lol, which is a janitor basically
Bullshit. His mouth breathing alone made me think he was 280 lbs of lard
hahahaha
Like he sounded fat if thats possible
oh it is
Of course. Nobody is going to lie about being a cook onboard a mostly diplomatic ship in western europe 😂
he was calling Vanessa a whore
So in this free speech utopia we have going on here
What do people do about people like that?
Just mute?
You out them for being degenerates in society
i was trying to debate him on free healthcare then he started that and initially i thought he was just trolling. but he went hard trying to justify being a vet
can't blame him
I tried that too. I don’t care if healthcare would be cheaper under Universal health care. I want to be responsible for my own healthcare. And my plan has no effect on him. But his plan necessitates stealing my money to pay for his insulin
But then he called me brainwashed instead if debating the point so I left.
Im too old to waste time on foolishness
Not old enough to have nothing better to do
Lol fair enough.
How do you feel about TRICARE, vets? I used to work on it for DoD as a civilian contractor
Healthcare will actually promote health if its costs aren't subsidized. Rather than promote treatment.
I don't really know shit about Tricare, but I accept government programs for soldiers as part of their benefit package. The actual inner workings are more of a budget question than principle point.
I worked in both epidemiology and healthcare economics (as a supporting programmer) for nearly a decade. It’s a topic Im really interested in having real discussions over
Well its bankrupting DoD. Something like 1/3-1/2 of the enitre defense budget is now tricare
The administration of TRICARE is also a retirement farm for officers
Entire Defense budget or discretionary?
I imagine it isn't Discretionary tho
I’ll have to look that up. I want to say entire but I can’t commit to that claim
Something like 1/3-1/2 of the enitre defense budget is now tricare
Is that true?
Hold on let me make sure I got that right
Even if it is true, I'm not sure what the appropriate number would be expected to be. Especially considering the internal costs of TRICARE will necessarily reflect the general costs of Healthcare, which we have caused to skyrocket.
So all personnel costs are over 1/2 but that includes VA
