Good article on it there
What's a good pistol for a beginner for home defense?
reliable, easy maintenance
Glock 17 or 19
I was thinking Taurus judge
but ok
That’s good for snake shot
I only know Taurus Judge because it shows up in a ton of bad movies
Glock 17 if you have big hands, 19 if small
But with the finger extension a 19 is fine and it's a bit more concealable
If you plan to conceal it too then 19 > 17
why shoot snakes when you can seduce them with tender kisses
I don't really need conceable. I kind of want it but where I work there's metal detectors and a no guns policy
Personally I'd recommend a colt python or Ruger Redhawk though
so that limits me 5x a week
@Deleted User
t. Emu kisser
and by no guns policy I mean I would be arrested if I tried to bring in a firearm
Yeah don't do it then
If it's just home defense, get a shotgun
Yup then you can go big and not have to worry. As grawrant said a shotgun would do the trick
@BobbyLaGoshe G17
Any 12guage would work, for home defense I'd recommend a Mossberg 590 shockwave. However I like the Remington 870s more
Lol mossberg
Dont buy that garbage
You don't need a SBS but they are easier to keep at your nightstand
thanks, I live in a pretty safe neighborhood but you never know
Go Benelli
If you go for a shotgun bead sights are superior to ghost ring
that meant nothing to me
I'm assuming bead sights are the red dots?
No
They are iron sights
Just a little bead on the front
my house is small enough siting will not be much of an issue
if it comes to it
god damn Americans and your freedom sticks
Well you used to have them
until everyone meekly handed them over

St. Brenton managed to get some, despite having the same ethnic handicap as you.
I'd sooner bury mine for the boogaloo. Never give in to a mandatory buy back
