poking fun at someone whose problems they dont have the capacity to understand
it's like i have a first world problem being made fun of by third world niggers who can never understand my struggle
ive never seen niggers appropriate haggis
I don't actually know Scottish cuisine very well
i wouldnt want to eat fevin
That's gay
I can't imagine Scottish eat southern food though
Cornbread?
With the golden corral thing, sometimes it's not about taste but about the experience
Biscuits (not cookies like it means in Britain)
↑
Biscuits are scones
Nah
they just changed the name in 'merica
it's the experience of stuffing my face with no one giving a fuck vs having a really nice meal that i have to spend a while eating and aren't so full i cant walk
real biscuits are ship rations
"Twice Baked"
American biscuits are just a form of savory scone
@McFansy that's true. It's the experience. Popeyes wouldn't be built like a battle arena if they were just there to serve chicken
Nah, out biscuits aren't made from Butter
Lard, or more commonly now, Crisco
Also biscuits are never sweetened
you can claim northerners biscuits as scones though
they basically are
aren't biscuits flakey?
not southern
the flaky bit is where you start incorporating French dough folding though
what
no it's not
it's about the type of fat
is that the guy that body slammed the white lady or whatever
You can make flakey or tender based on whether you're mixing in fat that's solid or not
and the rations of things like butter
which has more water and as you say crisco
and you make it exactly the same way you make normal biscuits.. work the dough as little as possible
depending on those ratios is how you can get flakey biscuits
You don't need to mix in any special folding
you're not making puff pastry ffs
