Hey guys, so I'm always really pleased to see Matt going after hoax hate. I live in a small college town where we had a huge anti-hate protest movement after some KKK flyers were put on cars. Of course everyone saw this as a evidence of a huge underground racism network operating in our sleepy town, which is of course stupid. I did some digging and uncovered the truth: the guy who put those flyers on the car is the only one around. But that didn't stop the newspapers and college from using this one person as evidence of the "hate" that exists in our town.

I was in Memphis last week in a black-run Chicken restaurant describing to one of the workers and some patrons how good some pancakes I got in Nashville were and I used the Okay symbol as a replacement for words and none of them took it as a hate symbol because it friggin isn't
