Hey guys how do I get in line to call in?

Hey guys, so I'm always really pleased to see Matt going after hoax hate. I live in a small college town where we had a huge anti-hate protest movement after some KKK flyers were put on cars. Of course everyone saw this as a evidence of a huge underground racism network operating in our sleepy town, which is of course stupid. I did some digging and uncovered the truth: the guy who put those flyers on the car is the only one around. But that didn't stop the newspapers and college from using this one person as evidence of the "hate" that exists in our town.

@Fondboy I just wanted to say that I find this meta analysis to be convincing. I still think gender dysphoria is a real mental disorder that is unhealthy for the individual, but if treatment is effective, treatment is effective.

@Fondboy All I require to have my mind changed is convincing scientific evidence. This seems to be that.

@Fondboy I still think trans people have a mental disorder that is very unhealthy. This meta analysis just shows effective treatment. I think the state of being trans is a horrible mental disorder, but the treatment seems to lessen the symptoms.

@Fondboy Sure, I just want to be clear I still consider gender dysphoria to essentially be a cancer of the mind. If you take medication to lessen your symptoms, you still have cancer. Ideally we would be able to cure them of their dysphoria. But yes, it is a start

@Fondboy until we can cure the dysphoria, this is encouraging. What I fear is that the health community will view this treatment as a cure.
