i found the hybrid IEMs to have slightly more detailed highs and marginally less sibillance than the piston 3

but they do also have a deeper v shape so emphasised bass, piston 3 undoubtedly more neutral

tbh i just prefer the industrial design, i think they're pretty beautiful

the piston 3 is probably the best i've used for mids and highs, but my experience is limited

i'm very sensitive to sibilance and so look for a warmer sound myself
