This is such a meme. You can just make subjective judgements on the cooking as you're doing it. Even relying on measurements of ingredients is subject to your own personal view, because you personally sought out a recipe of your own free choosing.
White people suck!
Look how their imperial ways invaded everyones living space!
Seeking middle east oil, african gold, south americas fruits, asias technologies
Imperial bastards!
And look, their own children on suiciding, doing heroin and opiates
Retribution is painful
ok
I mean I guess time can be a little bit nebulous. There is no reason an hour has to be as long as it is, and the clock itself can be strange. But I also dont see the point in eliminating a standardized form of time
there may be no reason, but thats not an argument to deconstruct the whole thing
its utility far outweighs any lack of reason for its definition
To be fair we didn't arbitrarily create the standard of a 60 minute hour, or what a minute means and how our clocks progress
we didnt?

We didn't
The numbers align with the sun's movement
Nah but the division into 24 hour days and 60 minute hours was pretty arbitrary
