So the way I framed it, was I took something she really wanted (Not a physical object), and put it behind the stipulation you get X when you do Y, because....
And then I constantly do that encouraging thing

but positive is more effective and universal. Ya got to find what she really wants, set a goal, and keep encouraging her. It's gotta be something special, and just outta reach right now, but attainable.
