That or some sort of saw
And for the canuks we have the rake option
I know we're talking " Possible Modifications " but every time I read that ^ I picture I giant farm combine with a wide rotary-rake-mulcher just. . . runnin
Just a question, is it better to buy more firearms or buy/redo my PC entirely? I know it's a dumb question but I'm happy with what I have now and will be getting more later. I also use my pc constantly
Depends if your pc is a potato, like mine, or is okeish
I really want a fucking C96
@Scr0m I'm innasimilar boat and honestly leaning toward selling / scrapping the rig for funds
@HEARTBREA/K/ Its a red 9 too
@INNYGMATYK it's actually a good pc. It has decent times running high quality games like the witcher just fine but with stuff I'm beginning to be picky about like cpu usage being really high under load and actually impacting graphics. Like I can play tons of things no problem. But I dunno. Just not sure if I should pursue AR stuff due to laws becoming real fucking stupid real quick, especially in oregon. So just trying to plan for the future and i never wanna say "wow, i should have bought an AR while i had a chancec
> OR
yeah go for the AR
if I lived innacity, and knew someone who'd pay me for what mine's worth, I'd probably be a step ahead of you
I ( my friend ) built my computer in 2014 and it's still doing its job. When I started realizing she's getting old though, and started pondering my next rig, I wanted to go VR.
But, with how things are going. . . idk what good a PC would hypothetically do you. . .
@Scr0m AR and mags. Get both before election season
@Scr0m I've lived through the Obama scare, shit was awful. Get both and stack ammo on occasion. Even if you get a box if ammo a week, by the end of the year youd have 1000rds saved. A mag or 2 once a month is 12 to 24 mags a year.
Food for thought.
@INNYGMATYK I suppose AR + Mags first, computer later. I'm probably gonna go that route, honestly.
I can do both at one point but definitely guns first.
@Scr0m now you're talking.
@Scr0m it's what I've done. I want a gaming PC. But I need a rifle squad amount of basic ARs, mags, and ammo first....maybe a spare nightvision unit.
Then I'll be more content.
I need to be able to supply my homies 😅
@mcguyver123 hell yeah.
So, it looks like AR is gonna be my next purchase. What websites do you guys use, recommendations for possibly second hand ane what to look for? Also hope I'm not asking for too much info
Buy a lower locally or buy the shit to do an 80
Total build for blue collar build is about 400 to 450 with irons or optic
400 to 600 for mid tier
600 to 800 for high tier
I wouldnt get an FN or colt. Theres diminishing returns after a certain price point
FN or colt only if you can get one for <1000 would be worth it though
Dont get unlined barrel or a nonnitrided bolt
The barrel from.any of the company I've listed will be lined. Chrome or nitrided.
Bolts should be coated as well, psa bolts definitely are
FN or colt just parkerizes their bolts, which is ok, but they arent as buttery.
Gotcha. Do bolts need to nitride or can they be chrome?
Bolts come either uncoated or coated. Nitriding is a coat. Chrome is a coat (I gave my father an m16a1 clone with chromed bolt. Super smooth)
Parkerizing isnt a coat. Its gritty. But if from colt or fn, bcm itd be fine.
But an uncoated bolt from a little brand or no name company I would avoid.
ARs are tight machines. The slicker, the better. Usually. Like pussy.
Alright. That's really good info. I'll do some digging on it and see if I can compile a good listing of choices
Anything from PSA with a nitrided barrel or chrome lined psa premium would be a good
If you want a more premium build, aero or bcm for sure. I'd buy a nice one for YOUR first AR. Not that psa isnt nice, but you can feel subtleties for sure
And for inspiration
Yeah. I just checked out PSA but I'll hop on checking out the aero studf
