2017-03-03 16:40:47 UTC

2017-03-03 16:40:48 UTC

2017-03-03 16:40:49 UTC

@transience I was under the impression that gook = viet and kor.

2017-03-03 16:40:49 UTC

but if you don't know what to do with it, then you fucked up.

2017-03-03 16:41:10 UTC

@Austin will probably build autist wifi jammer

2017-03-03 16:41:23 UTC

@bap why?

2017-03-03 16:41:33 UTC

thinking about purchasing

2017-03-03 16:41:44 UTC

rofl i still havent gotten it to print

2017-03-03 16:41:52 UTC

ordered a month ago

2017-03-03 16:41:59 UTC

but i have little time atm so

2017-03-03 16:42:34 UTC

oh

2017-03-03 16:42:56 UTC

build quality seems solid though, gearbest shipping was pretty fast too

2017-03-03 16:43:27 UTC

yeah there's lots of upgrades on thingiverse for the anet a8

2017-03-03 16:43:49 UTC

i think most of these are universal

2017-03-03 16:44:07 UTC

its a common prusa i3 clone so might check for that too

2017-03-03 16:45:02 UTC

the original prusa kit is 739€

2017-03-03 16:46:04 UTC

anyone who know some kind of polish to remove scratches on metal?

2017-03-03 16:46:19 UTC

I have wanhao duplicator i3, it's pretty nice but I like working on it more than printing with it

2017-03-03 16:46:56 UTC

so far I couldnt figure out why its not extruding, its moving the hotend end everything but the filament just kinda dribbles out

2017-03-03 16:47:04 UTC

>inb4 penis meme

2017-03-03 16:47:19 UTC

I had this issue when I switch PLA filament to ABS

2017-03-03 16:47:27 UTC

I only have PLA

2017-03-03 16:47:44 UTC

I fucked up a bit and it grinded a bunch of plastic into extruder so it was stuck

2017-03-03 16:47:58 UTC

its not stuck i cleaned it already

2017-03-03 16:48:15 UTC

tbh after disassembling parts of it the construction of a 3d printer seems pretty simple

2017-03-03 16:48:26 UTC

did you get a kit?

2017-03-03 16:48:36 UTC

nah, just bought it preassembled

2017-03-03 16:48:42 UTC

oh i got a kit

2017-03-03 16:48:43 UTC

it isnt

2017-03-03 16:48:52 UTC

it took me about 5 hours I think?

2017-03-03 16:48:55 UTC

wanted it to be easy with my first printer and then start assembling the second one

2017-03-03 16:49:11 UTC

I wish I could do that but I'm not made of money

2017-03-03 16:49:16 UTC

most of the time spent on getting the small nuts into place since the space is so limited

2017-03-03 16:49:19 UTC

£140 is a lot for an aliexpress purchase

2017-03-03 16:49:27 UTC

go gearbest

2017-03-03 16:50:00 UTC

@bap assembly is ez if you follow the instructions on sd card, but id recommend watching some youtube videos to go along with it
