“In a nutshell, any other decision today, and I’m leaving the country. We already have Swiss passports and we shall be there next week.
“I don’t have a Swiss passport, but I will try and get out the country any way I can, because I couldn’t afford to stay here.”
Corbyncaust already in effect.
Speaking of Greens, i was in Georgia this weekend and saw in the White suburbs, the most Green Party signs i have ever seen in my life
How bad are the US Greens?
I mean like 70% of their platform could be mistaken for ours, but that 30% is pozzed as hell
almost totally insignificant until recently
EU Greens are the worst party hands down, pro-incest pro-pedophilia. No white sharia soon enough.
but the last election saw them get a lot of organizers and chapters
the wave of the future is third parties in america on the local level
i mean the Socialists got a council member for the city council of seattle
that hasnt happened in literally generations
The US political system still fucks me up a bit, it's so simple with unitary country. How high positions have 3rd parties achieved, currently and in general?
Historically, a lot
the Communists and Socialists in the 19th and early 20th century had State lawmakrs by the hundreds, thousands of local offices, even Congressmen
The Constitution Party has as well
We arent going to win the Senate or the House, but we can use this system to take over regions on the local level
...yet. Have there been successful nationalist third parties? Oddly enough I know the fringe of the fringe very well, anything approaching mainstream, not so much.
The Klan controlled entire States in the 20s
It was as Democrats, but they ran it
Yeah, Klan, fair enough.
Indiana actually had the Governor and majority of the State legislature and the Federal offices all picked by the Klan
Our issue has been vision. You cant launch a national crusade if you dont have infrastructure to do so, and local support
I mean Wallace ran as Third Party
won about the entire South
He won about 10 million votes
And if he had won 1 or 2 more States, which he came very close to do, he would have been able to have an insane amount of leverage with the other candidates to make them adopt his platform
I think organizing locally is the only way to get a national movement off the ground.
Gotta build the cart before you get a horse to tie to it
Exactly. I think it's possible for TWP to get a foothold on certain corners of the US. If the Mormons can, in places like Utah, we can in Appalachia. It's very realistic.
Same goes for Vegas and most of Rural Nevada
Exactly 100%

Europe is just bit ahead of the curve when it comes to radicalism and political violence. Due to a combination of historical factors, life has been pretty chill in US, violence has been more racial than political, and state has very successfully kept the monopoly of violence for +100 years. The two party system and fetishization of independent militias has also probably contributed to the lack of political violence. It's all very summary and spontaneous, and even despite of Klan's reputation they were pretty amicable bunch and willing to take part in the democratic process. While here we have a 100 year history of two dozen competing parties with their own militias and enforcers and at least two wars and a civil war within that century.
I have no doubt shit will hit the fan big time over there as well.
@Kombat-Unit agree 100%. we are in the beginning stages of civil war here. It's inevitable.
I just find it funny every time how SocDems used to have their own militias in several countries. While in 2017 we have "nazis" complaining about how rifles and self defense will give us a bad name.
Hell, here the civil war was initiated by Social Democratic party, we didn't even have commies back then.
And yes, as things keep unraveling, US will come to resemble the rest of the world more, two party monopoly crumbles, people take the matters into their own hands more and more, left and right polarize and gear up and the center will be shattered to death.
The US, I think, as a cohesive entity, has an expiration date--as does the EU. We'll see where the next few years take us.
So true.
brb as well, making food
