get a real one
@worms the usb snes controllers are alright
but I'm guessing you want joysticks
yeah i wanted something with joysticks but I'll check those out, i still play with emulators from time to time. Thanks guys
you can get 360 wired ones pretty cheaply for 25euros on some sales
cheapest (on local markets) its 26 euros + 5euros postage
the steam controller is $35 but i hate laptop touchpads and some reviews say it's similar to those. Sigh....
steam controller is decent
I'll keep an eye open for those deals then
and the touchjoysticks have way nicer texture than most keyboards
and using your thumbs on them is nice
You got one?
friends have couple of them
ive been looking for a pc controller
there are some on aliexpress that are 360 knock offs, for 12$ and people are positive about it.
what you could also do is, get a very old 360 second hand, and buy the shell and buttons on aliexpress, from the sellers that sell the 360 knock off
but does it use the xbox driver or does it use generic drivers that you have to configure?
i think it's xbox, but i really am not sure. they don't sell wireless, so maybe that's a giveaway that they cant replicate the og drivers? @Killerclimax
why switch the shell and buttons?
apparently the knockoffs work as legit 360 controllers.
The controller will still be worn, not worth risk imo
it uses the OG drivers
add a shell and buttons you have an original xbox 360 controller for 10$
ah, right. nice tip. I thought it was a secret hack haha
@leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeebo the conroller wont, just the motherboard
i was thinking of doing this wait ill link the store that has literally ALL xbox 360 parts
Doesnt Xbox controller use contact pads?
Those are usually what fail, that and the membrane
you can buy that for 1$ from that store
the contact pads
Steelseries stratus xl is pretty good, emulates Xinput for like $25
xinput causes problems with some games =/ some games hate non xbox remotes
especially linux, wine, rocketleague had abunch of issues a while back
just a warning, it does work though.
There is a switch on stratus xl so it can be a regular two axis
i think im gonna buy one of those knock-offs, they look pretty good. ill do a review in the thread when it arrives
