Friendly reminder to not post executables and .bats or other sketchy scripts here, also don't just open any old .bat files you see here or on 4chan in general

2017-05-31 00:43:38 UTC

2017-05-31 01:00:49 UTC

2017-05-31 01:08:27 UTC

i bought used phones before. im using a moto x style right now. great phone. only signs of use is the usb port is a little finicky

2017-05-31 01:12:19 UTC

I'm thinking of buying rams from China.is it OK?

2017-05-31 01:12:49 UTC

probably not

2017-05-31 01:29:13 UTC

how much are you really saving buying ram from china? unless you buying ancient tech like sdram or ddr1/2, dont bother

2017-05-31 01:56:18 UTC

Do I need a power bank with a Type-C port to charge a Type-C device?

2017-05-31 02:07:16 UTC

im sure adapters will work fine if its just power

2017-05-31 02:11:43 UTC

i just looked it up and just found out that USB C cables are chipped

2017-05-31 02:14:17 UTC

you can just use a usb-a to usb c cable to charge no?

2017-05-31 02:16:43 UTC

>Some non-compliant cables with a USB-C connector on one end and a legacy USB-A plug or Micro-B receptacle on the other end incorrectly terminate the Configuration Channel (CC) with a 10kΩ pullup to VBUS instead of the specification mandated[41] 56kΩ pullup, causing a device connected to the cable to incorrectly determine the amount of power it is permitted to draw from the cable.

2017-05-31 02:17:54 UTC

so if the adapter cable is made properly it should work. im not sure if its easy to use a multimeter to test the reistance from pin A5 (CC) to VBUS

2017-05-31 02:18:30 UTC

you could use a breakout board. it may be worthwhile if you plan on buying many cheap chinese adapters

2017-05-31 03:15:06 UTC

>USB-C

2017-05-31 03:23:01 UTC

Usb c is great. I have it with my pixel and switch

2017-05-31 03:23:22 UTC

Though too many things need usb-pd now which is a pain

2017-05-31 03:46:11 UTC
