filament can be had as cheap as $15/kg if you do some shopping and have an extruder that can handle the looser tolerances

for ABS/PLA

My goal is to have production ready parts out the oven

but FDM doesnt really fit the bill

if you wanna work much other than ABS or PLA you'll very likely need to modify your printer

I want high end features but i really havent owned any 3d printing solution

but i can print polycarbonate and once i get a proper fume box set up POM

Polycarbonate is an excellent material yo

noot messing with POM without an enclosure with permanganate filter built-in to catch all the formaldehyde it lets off though
