they did it with me once, that is why I'm so pissed

2017-06-22 12:14:32 UTC

neverl DHL

2017-06-22 12:17:51 UTC

then why not prove them wrong

2017-06-22 12:18:02 UTC

couldn't you just send the proof that it's not 100

2017-06-22 12:18:33 UTC

What's it matter, GST on consumer purchases is only payable if the value+postage is > $400, or they suspect you are skirting law round it

2017-06-22 12:18:41 UTC

(in NZ)

2017-06-22 12:19:43 UTC

Yeah

2017-06-22 12:19:56 UTC

It'd be fraudulent for it to be declared so high

2017-06-22 12:20:05 UTC

I mean if its $10 how much are you gonna pay taxes

2017-06-22 12:20:09 UTC

Nil

2017-06-22 12:24:40 UTC

@fedora beats me, I ordered something that cost around 15, they slammed 100 on it and I said I refuse to pay, send it back

2017-06-22 12:24:59 UTC

and didn't hear from them, but I know dhl put the price tag on it

2017-06-22 12:25:14 UTC

Why does dhl do that

2017-06-22 12:25:25 UTC

Is dhl hikky revenger postal service?

2017-06-22 12:26:13 UTC

"Fucking normal fags buying chink shit but dont worry I revenged it by putting $100 price tag on their shit"

2017-06-22 12:26:39 UTC

I have never used dhl so i have no idea

2017-06-22 12:27:03 UTC

Its always just ups if I buy something from amazon or smthing

2017-06-22 12:29:50 UTC

2017-06-22 12:29:58 UTC

2017-06-22 12:30:58 UTC

@fedora because they are big corp and act to according some laws. it all comes to if the package was posted by individual or a company

2017-06-22 12:31:13 UTC

if individual, they don't care

2017-06-22 12:31:20 UTC

but if you google it, you see a lot of cases like that

2017-06-22 12:31:38 UTC

"DHL acts as your representative to the Swiss authorities. DHL figures
the value, does the paperwork and prepays the costs to the Swiss
government. In turn, they send you a fancy bill adding a small
percentage for their troubles."

2017-06-22 12:31:49 UTC

just quick google search, random forum post

2017-06-22 12:31:59 UTC

tdl; dhl is a snitch and works with government(s)

2017-06-22 12:32:25 UTC

actually dhl is just taking an extra cut with the customs by doing shit everyone could do themselves

2017-06-22 12:32:43 UTC

Oh yea that happened me 2 years ago

2017-06-22 12:32:44 UTC

they couldn't care less about the package getting caught unless they profited from it

2017-06-22 12:32:55 UTC

When i bought waterproof ipod

2017-06-22 12:32:59 UTC

@Laasti that's true

2017-06-22 12:33:04 UTC

they just want money

2017-06-22 12:33:09 UTC

They wanted to do taxes on it

2017-06-22 12:33:10 UTC

oh and recently you can't even do the customs yourself since dhl changed it, now they always do it and you have to pay extra

2017-06-22 12:33:12 UTC

I said no

2017-06-22 12:33:16 UTC

And did them my self

2017-06-22 12:33:17 UTC

before you could say no but no more

2017-06-22 12:34:03 UTC

if possible, just don't use dhl

2017-06-22 12:34:21 UTC

supporting the rotting company is a sin

2017-06-22 12:35:48 UTC

I didnt have choice since i bought it from states

2017-06-22 12:38:56 UTC
