I was thinking about buying one for my mom as birthday present
I wouldnt
It looks fucking awesome but i doubt it works
yeah looking at videos it looks pretty shit
maybe some robot vacuum cleaner
1.3kg
how does it even stick
@porco >$57.19
ten cent autism spinner shipped
<:chink:323022148870602752>
@Tribit What about it interesting? _Another_ 16610 (which may be the least interesting reference) but made slightly larger making it too big for a majority of people. Assuming absolutely lowest grade (average $15 chink mechanical) movement since nothing is said about it. Only positive is comparatively cheap for stainless case + bracelet. More than original bagel price and movement / size upgrade is certainly worth the few dollars to get a Bagel instead.

@Make I have had many robot vacuum cleaners, they are fun but impractical
I heard the new ones are quite good already
unless maybe you have a massive hall and you want to keep it clean. or you have kids so they run around and chase the robot, from the practical point of view they are absolutely worthless
there is fast development
possibly. about 15 months ago I purchased the latest and greatest roomba and it was shite. but it's very much possible they have released better robots. but at the last time I checked, they were busy creating mobile apps etc. for them instead of working on the actual robot and it's mechanics
> start your robot over the internet but it gets stuck somewhere anyways
Really that's what sells isnt it
gimmicks
besides, the actual cleaning mechanism is shit. it's just two stupid blades trying to collect the dust. I'd understand if it was a vacuum, but we don't have batteries yet to solve it
wait, it's just a brush?
+ something that vibrates and in theory slams the dirt from floor
but in the end, you take out even your shittiest vacuum cleaner and it does better jobs
@KING LIAM other forum they mentioned the latest roomba tracks your apartment and make bluebrint out of it and optimizes paths according to it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkTVAd_YYc4 looks pretty good tbh
my romba did it too, but it was nevertheless dumb....
and I don't have shit like clothes or toys lying on my floor
also we don't have shitty full floor carpets in Finland like they have in usa
I'm from Estonia, neither do we. you still mess around with things you have to put you don't want the robot to go... so in the end you mark the territories and clean the cartridge and all the time you spend on it is better spent on vacuuming
I have very similar model and its mapping system is dumb. in fact I think I have the same
considering estonian salaries +900€ is really much
@Make salaries are not big here indeed, but it doesn't mean people don't have money
it's no 1990 anymore ; ) god bless capitalism
you get the worse of our society with the manual labourers
when estonians started working in finland, the national average IQ jumped + 60 points because they are not in the stats anymore
@Make I have this: https://www.amazon.com/iRobot-Roomba-Vacuum-Cleaning-Robot/dp/B005GK3IVW
and I don't recommend you to buy it, pay some estonian instead to clean your mum's apartment for some amount of time. a maid. money well spent.
@KING LIAM that's old model indeed only 900 series have that mapping feature
well mine sure did map something, but I think you have investigated more about them... I just bought it out of curiosity and realize it's dogshit tech very quickly
yep
