you get also velour pads and 2 cables with them
I haven't tried velour pads yet I like the original also
The noise isolation on the cx-05 is surreal
I'm cleaning up some rubble with an industrial grade 1.5kW vacuum cleaner
I almost hear nothing when I'm wearing the thing
And this fucker is loud
But does superlux give surround? I'm mainly buying for gaming
Surround is a meme
would you eat something baked in a silicon mould off aliexpress
silicone*
why?
thinking about buying a silicone baking mat, and silicone cupcake liners
Take csgo and it's hrtf function, gives better "surround" with $5 earphones than 7.1 gaming whatever headphones on other games
Quality sound in games depends more on sound design and how the sound engine works than on the headphones you are using
Oh really?
Take any headphones and listen to this
Hrtf is pretty great
Took time to get used for it
That's super helpful, in terms of headphones which would you recommend? Does USB matter?
Thats for sure
Honestly, unless you really are in a noisy environment, the superlux are great
So basically it all comes down to comfort?
I have that exact model
It's great, get the velour pads too
Might purchase it later then, In terms of mics i was recommended a condenser BM-800, will it work?
@DJ Tyrone you need phantom power for it.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MRL1L4O/?th=1 someone posted this, looks like a good deal
What about USB mics?
I just need something that provides good sound and isnt rocket science to set up.
Blue snowball?
@DJ Tyrone USB mics are not as good but some entry level stuff like the Blue Snowball are alright
blue memeball
I have the yeti, it was overpriced, but it's great
(for me)
Did I write a review of the cx-05 on the thread once? I don't remember doing so, but I've got some stuff to say about it
@DJ Tyrone do you live in Europe?
if yes buy superlux from thomann.de
