dunno. the c2q is a capable cpu even today but i dont know how well itd run in that scenario

yeah just need something for auto back-ups, seedboxing, media etc

now I have the comfy stuff I don't want to lose it

But the C2Q is probably one of the best CPUs you can get from Gear, unless you can get something from the Core i series or bulldozer
