yea
how would you ever control linux with a comfy controller
who the fuck wants to use mouse and keyboard on the couch
those little bluetooth keyboard+touchpad things work well enough
wtf i dont get lincucks
@fedora bit late but yeah, postnl won't update the tracking code very fast. it ships from wherever to the netherlands, and then they ship it to you
the fastest way to get a working code is to ask them on twitter
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZY8V83H?psc=1 these lil things
yah me neither
using the tv box as an emulator with retroarch also, works good
no joke
woooah that's neat
they'll convert the chink tracking code to one for their internal system
i would mostly use plex tho
have everything there
@Phatique linux hardware support on any remotely common desktop or server hardware hasn't been a real issue for like a decade lol
yeah sure its not a problem if you want to sit and semi-code on the fucking terminal for 2 hours
@Phatique nah linux desktop is nicer and easier than windows these days
t. linux user
like "i taught an 80 year old man who'd never used a computer before to use it" easy
linux is better for a facebook and email machine
installed linux and plugged in my usb headset, it refused to work, literally the linux experience.
t. wincuck myself
literally two things windows is better at: cad/cam and aaa gaming
even for gaming if you're into indie gaming linux is mostly fine
had ubuntu installed, plugged in my phone trough usb
"no drivers for this phone"
cad/cam i make do but it's the only thing outside aaa games i've found to be a huge pain in the ass outside windows
cant access my files on the phone
linux experience
when you installed did you check the box for closed source drivers
googled everything
found forum posts with the same problem
everytime i had a linux problem
dozens of forums posts with people with the same problem
and i dont have the patience for coding in the terminal for hours for something simple to work so i said fuckit and deleted it from my drive
well yeah, and when i was trying to get my wacom tablet working on *nix i found that too, and they were all like "yeah nah this person's maintaining open source drivers for that, nothing really ships with them but just grab em off this github and youre good"
