I use the Casio AE-20W face 99% of the time, the 91 Dub is good thogh since you can configure every part of it
it's like a casio watch face you can rice
Is it normal for a 18650 charger to get too hot to touch at the positive terminals?
I'm getting this with a 2017 Nitecore i2
Sounds risky
no. A good one should not go above 40 deg C
On second evaluation, it's probably around the 40C region

not gonna charge this fucker unattended anyhow
I have one of them
lemme see if I can find it

Have I been chinked
Tbh I probably should wait for my panasonics to get here to see whether it's the high resistance of this ICR18650 causing it
It's the one that came with the gongtian, for the record
<:thonk:288060975775612929>
does that get hot while charging?
probably not since usb charging is slower
I don't think it ever got hot over usb
the battery itself doesn't get hot, it's just the charger terminals on the nitecore
i bought a HY-V9B amplifier and it sucks
@transience probably the nitecore then
sounds alright, equalizers are weird, post eq bass and treble adjustments are weird.
the USB port in the back promises 1A and provides about 0.07A
in reality the voltage is a square wave between 4V and 5V at about 22Hz
the protection diode and resistor is causing the regulator to drop out at that frequency. ill try to bypass it
actually they installed the wrong resistor. for the circuit to limit the current at 1A it needs to be 5.3 ohms, lets say 4.7 for a good margin and to be standard
there is a 47 ohm actually installed
i got chinked

Do you have a death wish?
@something
>not opening chink electronics to check if it's a deathtrap
It's max 12 v in there
They don't even include a power supply. You need to use your own so I bought I cheap monitor 12v 5a supply
