It's from China tho

2017-08-20 00:38:36 UTC

Or I wouldn't bring it up here

2017-08-20 00:40:15 UTC

But they accept paypal and have a seemingly working customer service. Still, I feel like I need to have a budget to throw $300 away before ordering it. I'll probably get another measure made shirt for next summer though, since they're $30 with shipping.

whats the best chink smart watch for <$100

2017-08-20 00:43:08 UTC

or is it even worth buying them or should i just save up for apple watch

2017-08-20 00:51:33 UTC

pebble time

2017-08-20 00:52:08 UTC

or the xiaomi BIP

2017-08-20 00:54:56 UTC

those celerons aren't as horrible as you think as long as you have realistic expectations

2017-08-20 00:55:46 UTC

i had a weaker old sky from 2015 and used it as an every day web browser/animu/music laptop for years with a slimed down linux, did just fine. my limitation was the shitty 2gb ram

2017-08-20 00:55:57 UTC

good like school laptops or faptops

2017-08-20 00:57:57 UTC

the main adavantage is fanless, at least for mine(hp stream 13). it totally changes the way you use the laptop. Like when you put it down on a bed it doesn't get too hot and they're also really portable. thinkpads are better if you actually need the processing power

2017-08-20 01:05:58 UTC

i like the pebble round

2017-08-20 01:06:02 UTC

but fucker is 150 cad

2017-08-20 01:06:55 UTC

Never understood why Shanghai doesn't have a greater reputation for suits

2017-08-20 01:07:10 UTC

All the tailors in HK originate from SH

2017-08-20 01:08:00 UTC

tfw wasted 500€ on a asus atom netbook back when they were a thing. could play eve online on it but it was overheating from even doing nothing that piece of shit. hitting 101°C on the cpu

2017-08-20 01:08:41 UTC

I have my netbook somehwere around my garage

2017-08-20 01:09:01 UTC

It's actually pretty fun, but I think most people have little use of it after tablets became popular

2017-08-20 01:09:15 UTC

Some portable computing that doesn't get hot would be great

2017-08-20 01:11:58 UTC

they're shilling shitty surface-ish stuff really hard. why would I want a portable pc I'd have to first assemble like a wonky unstable tent and a keyboard made out of rubber

2017-08-20 01:12:34 UTC

keyboard-dock? that's 100$ goy

2017-08-20 01:14:25 UTC

Microsoft is just taking advantage of the void left by Apple of premium electronics

2017-08-20 01:18:16 UTC

Normies fall for it somehow - I've seen serious photography review sites take the surface as a legitimate alternative. Not sure why one would prefer it over something like a Dell 7510 for studio work..

2017-08-20 01:18:39 UTC

Also glue

2017-08-20 01:20:03 UTC

prolly about 10 years ago before microsoft axed most of their hardware team, MS make pretty good products

2017-08-20 01:20:30 UTC

has to be deals made with the retailers. "if you find an idiot we'll give you 20% bonus"

2017-08-20 01:39:00 UTC

haha boomfa

2017-08-20 01:47:01 UTC

2017-08-20 01:47:37 UTC

K thanks , was looking for one for my cowon

2017-08-20 01:48:47 UTC

👍

2017-08-20 01:55:31 UTC

Why has tech been so stale recently?

2017-08-20 01:55:45 UTC

No new concepts apart from maybe VR but that was DOA

2017-08-20 01:55:57 UTC

do you want the sane person explanaition or the /pol/ one?

2017-08-20 01:56:06 UTC

Sane.

2017-08-20 01:58:54 UTC

The pol one would just be "it's da Jews"

2017-08-20 02:01:21 UTC

some of it maybe because we don't realize it. Shazam stuff is pretty cool if you think about it. back in the day you'd have to ask someone or watch mtv and wait for the name and song to be displayed. Or Twitch, if you'd tell somebody 20 years ago that in 2017 normies would have "internet tv stations with thousands of viewers", most of it for shilling of riced shitty overpriced racing-seats and Razer crap mice

2017-08-20 02:02:15 UTC

that and "it's da jooz"
