it needs to be logged into one of your mi accounts to work right, and the issue is that it needs a wifi also

my place has a fairly sophisiticated wifi setup with some ncie encryption and logins, so the thing said it was a public open network and didn't let me use it for the login process

so i have an expensive smart led bulb now that can only go white because directly connecting with it is impossible
