Canada doesn't use b20, I read on gizchina the phone had 20 LTE bands including band 4
but I just forgot the model
I've thought about dropping the money for a fossil but _why_
I think it was probably the redmi note 4 global so eh
>Gearbest says the 4x global doesn't support band 4
>Willmyphonework says it does
🙃
Note 4 Global does have B4
It's just that different sites use different names
on willmyphonework, Redmi Note 4X "International version" = Redmi Note 4 Global
Yknow you guys have great patience for spoonfeeding
Also it turns out the MI A1 supports band 4 so fuck the redmi tbh gotta get that official android support
the global version doesn't
Of the Mi A1 I mean
global version but it must be the International version
I'm not a fan of bloat ware and having multiple weird xiaomi apps
Mi A1 is not really worth it, bad specs and the camera is meh from what I saw
for the price
MIUI Global has very little bloat
or weird Xiaomi apps
MIUI is cool from what I've seen
^It is
Far better than most other custom roms, that I can say
Unlike for example LeEco
Really his choice comes down to wanting a bigger battery vs stock android
You can always get a Note 4 Global and slap Lineage OS on there should you not like MIUI though
I used a redmi 2 back in the day and didn't really enjoy MIUI
I also got burned when they released 2gb ram version a month after and accidentally bought the China version lmao so it was useless
If there's official lineage support that's pretty good too
I don't need 4G so choosing a phone is far easier for me
I don't need it either tbh 3g is good enough
But it'd be nice
@Cad you buying the Chinese version is kind of on you though, so you had to deal with the Chinese MIUI
also it's been a while since the Redmi 2 by now
give it another go, maybe you'll like it this time around
and you can always go to official Lineage OS if you don't like it
Miui used to be bad
Now, as a pure stock android user for the past 3 years I can say it's a nice skin alongside new TouchWiz
I remember MIUI back in the Gingerbread days
it was pretty slow
