rn4 problems

2017-11-12 19:31:42 UTC

@transience on my nexus 5 it felt like there was nothing, perfect

2017-11-12 19:31:52 UTC

2.5D is a mistake

2017-11-12 19:32:12 UTC

I wish manufacturers just wouldn't

2017-11-12 19:32:13 UTC

It feels comfy as fuck to hold though

2017-11-12 19:32:37 UTC

curved and edgeless displays look neat as fuck and all but it costs a fortune to get it replaced if you break it

2017-11-12 19:32:53 UTC

was 300 euros for my friends s7 a month back

2017-11-12 19:33:37 UTC

New phones are a bitch to repair in general

2017-11-12 19:33:52 UTC

chinkphones arent <:alismirk:230784726615588865>

2017-11-12 19:33:54 UTC

Gone are the days where you can get everything done with a screwdriver set

2017-11-12 19:34:22 UTC

You need a heatgun, double sided tape and some epoxy to glue the display to glass

2017-11-12 19:34:34 UTC

i wonder if those dickdocks would sell gold on university

2017-11-12 19:34:42 UTC

and manufacturers like apple are consciously making there phones impossible to repair

2017-11-12 19:34:48 UTC

especially by 3rd parties

2017-11-12 19:35:01 UTC

same goes for their laptops

2017-11-12 19:35:16 UTC

That's why you never buy applel

2017-11-12 19:35:24 UTC

repairabilty is the main thing i lookf for in my shit tbh

2017-11-12 19:35:34 UTC

although i did get a rn4

2017-11-12 19:35:51 UTC

At least they're cheap to replace

2017-11-12 19:36:14 UTC

And upgrading every one-two years still costs less than buying an equal spec phone from a carrier

2017-11-12 19:36:35 UTC

the construction of the notes isnt that advanced, will cost me about 25 euros to get my screen replaced

2017-11-12 19:36:52 UTC

but it would cost 40 if I didnt know a guy and couldnt use chinkshit

2017-11-12 19:37:33 UTC

Doesn't seem that much if you compare it to the 300 of the s7

2017-11-12 19:37:42 UTC

But that's 40% of the cost of a redmi 4

2017-11-12 19:38:17 UTC

Want to into electronics, are there any good "starter kits" on chink sites that are worth it and won't be DOA

2017-11-12 19:38:36 UTC

whatchu mean electronics

2017-11-12 19:38:46 UTC

like rasp pi and shit?

2017-11-12 19:38:59 UTC

led spinners

2017-11-12 19:39:04 UTC

Just circuits right now

2017-11-12 19:39:14 UTC

Was gonna get into Arduino later

2017-11-12 19:39:32 UTC

Chink soldering kits are pretty cheap and good, you can get a screwdriver kit from a chink or a local hardware store for pretty much the same price

2017-11-12 19:39:44 UTC

Just get a breadboard, resistors, leds and loads of wires

2017-11-12 19:40:03 UTC

https://www.gearbest.com/kits/pp_571914.html this is the first thing that showed up on the search

2017-11-12 19:40:04 UTC

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2017-11-12 19:41:02 UTC

Thanks lads 👍

2017-11-12 19:41:39 UTC

@Deleted User DIY christmas tree is nice if you want to get into soldering

2017-11-12 19:43:20 UTC

Depending on what you're planning to assemble you might want some 18650 batteries and other crap as well

2017-11-12 19:45:56 UTC
