so I ordered a budget modern deck, based around tempered steel & artifact tokens, and apparently he has enough cards that I can borrow a standard merfolk deck

so I'm kinda getting a really good starting point here

It's way fucking better than the Yu-Gi-Oh I used to play, better local community and actually reasonable competitive standards
