Geekbuying has the note 2 for 280 usd: Global ROM, from HongKong warehouse, guess this one is closer to being the global version.

Its about the LTE bands. Global version has many, like 30. China version has 5 and none work on my country.

Apparently if comes from hong kong it is most likely the global version. Was tempted to buy the mi note 3 but the note 2 seems better
