is there anything i can get with my budget?
Plenty
the /tpg/ threads will fill you in
T420 for 14" and X220 for "12 screens are the usual memes
i-is it easy to get into if im tech illiterate
relatively
i just know basic pc maintenance and replacing specific parts
theres a number of guides
are you underage Endo?
no
you type like a 13 year old
oh
nevermind then
yeah thinkpads are fine
you can plug one of these into the wifi slot, get a PicoPSU and a 1050ti that powers off the slot alone
then you got a gaming laptop
best thing about Thinkpads is they're nigh on indestructible, relatively modular/upgradeable, lots of spare parts around, and cheap
plus they have that retro IBM look if you're into that
It's the best option for someone on a budget I'd say
is gud
thinkpads have the best laptop keyboards imo
especially the older models
chink apollo lake laptops are *okay* for light gaming
the Air is sleek and modern looking if that's your thing
but other than the weight and thiccness I prefer Thinkpads
I think I scared him off <:thinkjojo:333980344044879872>
a few days ago I realised I accidentally installed the wrong version of windows on my thinkpad a few months back
(32 bit instead of 64)
so I was using 4gb while I had 8gb all this time
Trying to get into this thinkpad meme
Because laptops are my favorite way to go online
Im really at a loss lmao
anything up to the T430 or the X230 is fine
macbook pro 17 retina
alternatively, x230
I saw an x220 in cs lecture
