@jjanssen1 I like em, I have a couple opi ones and have an r1 on the way
Cool
are they compared to the rpi?
or completly different
The zero is cool, has PoE which is pretty uncommon in cheap sbcs
Faster, less ram, require cooling, run armbian and need more configuring
When I say require cooling I mean idle CPU temp at like 70 if you don't at least put a heat sink
They also use a bit more power
Beware the botnet, they are cheap because of Chinese government subsidy
Either keep them online or only doing stuff you don't mind China knowing everything about
Offline
I don't think anyone cares anymore, they won
Ye
Privacy is a myth security is a myth just embrace the botnet tbh
Yeah, if the chinks aren't data mining you, your government and ISP are
Obviously take basic protections but beyond that if an actor wants in they'll get in.
at least the chinks can't take legal action against me tbh
Yeah, the government is the entity that will sue you for torrenting Young Sheldon
