I've bought 3 laptops at Best Buy

2017-12-13 07:15:49 UTC

so its not like it gets wear from being thrown around

2017-12-13 07:15:54 UTC

One of them only had their battery die

2017-12-13 07:15:55 UTC

I hate them too but I use one because it's like 10% of the cost in electricity compared to my gaming PC

2017-12-13 07:16:03 UTC

it's a neccesary evil and the only things laptops do well

2017-12-13 07:16:06 UTC

they are power efficient

2017-12-13 07:16:10 UTC

ya but these arent shitty laptops theyre like averagoe ones like $400-$500 ones

2017-12-13 07:16:22 UTC

The other one got a crack on the plastic but because my sis threw it once from the bed but otherwise it's working perfect

2017-12-13 07:16:30 UTC

a 400 dollar laptop will crap out in a year based on the hardware IMO

2017-12-13 07:16:34 UTC

only laptop i have is my xiaomi air

2017-12-13 07:16:44 UTC

i have a couple desktops i use

2017-12-13 07:16:47 UTC

And the third one looks kinda crap aesthetically wise due to easy scuffing but everything else still OK

2017-12-13 07:16:59 UTC

300$ acer 400$ samsung 400$ toshiba

2017-12-13 07:17:02 UTC

I got one for 450 that was normally like 600 and that laptop is already slowing down after a year

2017-12-13 07:17:10 UTC

acer lasted like 6 years

2017-12-13 07:17:24 UTC

samsung still kicking and does fine for office/browsing shit

2017-12-13 07:17:29 UTC

toshiba same

2017-12-13 07:17:43 UTC

i got a dvd drive from best buy a couple months ago it bragged about being silent but its loud as fuck and it cant burn cds for some reason

2017-12-13 07:17:49 UTC

waste of $40

2017-12-13 07:18:02 UTC

what are you buying

2017-12-13 07:18:04 UTC

what brands

2017-12-13 07:18:58 UTC

their selection is trash or at least the one next to me which is in a dying mall but as far as pc stuff goes they only have shitty razer products, sometimes a logitech or corsair mouse or keyboard, and the same steel series mice on clearence

2017-12-13 07:18:58 UTC

>buying brand new DVD drives

2017-12-13 07:19:08 UTC

flea markets sell DVD drives for like 3 bucks

2017-12-13 07:19:22 UTC

no hardware at all other than sometimes a shitty 1060 and some amd shit for poor gamers

2017-12-13 07:19:26 UTC

that explains why you get shit... your location sucks

2017-12-13 07:19:28 UTC

USB portable ones before you think it's some big piece of shit for desktop

2017-12-13 07:19:51 UTC

theres only three good things ive ever bought from best buy that have still lasted and i use daily

2017-12-13 07:19:56 UTC

the main anchorage location here has been god tier in terms of selection because it serves the entire state of alaska, so it's comparable to that of a top 100 USA town in terms of size and selection

2017-12-13 07:20:05 UTC

it's also a really successful location in terms of profits so they carry good shit

2017-12-13 07:20:11 UTC

logitech mouse, corsair strafe rgb keyboard, and corsair void headset

2017-12-13 07:20:24 UTC

>using gaming headsets

2017-12-13 07:20:37 UTC

Mine always has a great selection, it's the only one in like 3-4 towns around so it's quite big and it's on a quite nice central location

2017-12-13 07:20:37 UTC

I bet you don't even pay attention to the brand of the products you buy besides gaming accessories

2017-12-13 07:20:47 UTC

i got a usb dvd drive but it crapped out after a year so i wanted to get an internal one to save usb port s and its shitty

2017-12-13 07:20:53 UTC

i always buy brands i trust

2017-12-13 07:21:05 UTC

I just get there and it has these little stands for cell phone makers

2017-12-13 07:21:09 UTC

like 5 cashiers always on

2017-12-13 07:21:12 UTC

my store has western digital and I trust that brand, I'd go chink for the right price

2017-12-13 07:21:19 UTC

some fellas trying to sell you 100$ hdmi cables

2017-12-13 07:21:20 UTC
