my moms gotten two laptops and the first one had the internal fan break within the first year (i fixed it) and the keyboard died and then the whoile laptop died

so its not like it gets wear from being thrown around

One of them only had their battery die

I hate them too but I use one because it's like 10% of the cost in electricity compared to my gaming PC

it's a neccesary evil and the only things laptops do well

they are power efficient

The other one got a crack on the plastic but because my sis threw it once from the bed but otherwise it's working perfect

a 400 dollar laptop will crap out in a year based on the hardware IMO

only laptop i have is my xiaomi air

And the third one looks kinda crap aesthetically wise due to easy scuffing but everything else still OK

I got one for 450 that was normally like 600 and that laptop is already slowing down after a year

acer lasted like 6 years

i got a dvd drive from best buy a couple months ago it bragged about being silent but its loud as fuck and it cant burn cds for some reason

their selection is trash or at least the one next to me which is in a dying mall but as far as pc stuff goes they only have shitty razer products, sometimes a logitech or corsair mouse or keyboard, and the same steel series mice on clearence

no hardware at all other than sometimes a shitty 1060 and some amd shit for poor gamers

USB portable ones before you think it's some big piece of shit for desktop

theres only three good things ive ever bought from best buy that have still lasted and i use daily

the main anchorage location here has been god tier in terms of selection because it serves the entire state of alaska, so it's comparable to that of a top 100 USA town in terms of size and selection

it's also a really successful location in terms of profits so they carry good shit
