My 5X will likely come with a fake global rom that can't be flashed or modified and won't recieve updates, and GeekBuying has been caught tampering with phones on numerous occasions.

Why the fuck would they bother to put fake ROMs on phones? Why not just leave the official chink or european MIUI on it, or atleast use something a little less malicious? -_-

@Cole It ends up with 900E and 9008 errors, and you can fix it but only to go back to using the hacked rom.
I just want to flash the A1 port onto it.
