while you're at LEDs, does anyone know how waterproof are the waterproof LED strips?
all but the ends usualy

iirc they are inside acrylic/resin mass
what has vacuumed around the strip

you just need to seal it as good
some clear silicone/heatwrap/etc
apparently there is two ways
silicone coating (with wacuum i think)
and silicone tube (diffueses te light too if sanded)
hmm the diffused light seems like a better option for mounting in the car
there one ebay seller what has good pics and decent pricing on invidual adressables apparently
